"The Warmth of Your Light" by Paige Seeger

This is a journal entry written by 15 year old, Paige. Her heart became heavy when she heard about a problem that exists in her home town of Phoenix, AZ. After praying about it and discussing it with her parents, she wanted to do something about it. This is her prayer, this is her adventure.  She is raising money for Streetlight USA, a local non-profit whose goal is to stop the child trafficking and sex exploitation that exists in Phoenix, AZ.  Please share this video, foxtrotter.org/paige

I am crowdfunding for an amazing cause, at the end of this campaign, me, my family, friends and neighbors will be running in a 5K Run to raise money for Streetlight. Last year, proceeds were spent on providing the resources needed to keep the girls safe while living at Streetlight.  I’m happy to say that your investment has done just that. This year, I have a new goal of raising funds to provide curriculum that will help lead the girls through recovery and restoration. Giving them clear guidance and a solid foundation to move forward, to regain hope and direction for their future. This will make a huge impact. I truly believe that many of my friends and neighbors will join me in my effort.  Whether you give $1 or $1000, join me in praying for them throughout this campaign, that they may feel the warmth and peace of God's light.  I know that no matter how much we raise, I am convinced there will be change.  Prayers will be heard, more people will be aware of this problem that exists here in our city, and lives will be touched.  Thank you for your love and support, together, let's make a difference!

A bit about Streetlight USA, Phoenix, AZ. Human trafficking and child sexual exploitation are often viewed as overseas problems. However, these nightmares exist throughout the United States for hundreds of thousands of minors. The average age of entry for children who are victims of child sex trafficking in our country is 13 years old.  Streetlight is there to provide a way to rescue and foster these children into rehabilitation and give them the opportunity to live a normal life.  Learn more about Streetlight at streetlightusa.org/the-issue
